Dr. Tara Zwicker (she/her) is an Oregon licensed naturopathic physician who graduated with her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine, where she also completed a 2-year residency in primary care. Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Zwicker earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Wilfrid Laurier University near Toronto, Canada, where she is proudly from.
Dr. Zwicker first became interested in naturopathic medicine while backpacking through South America, where she got to observe firsthand how locals turned to nature to heal. She went on to observe Ayurvedic medicine pactices in India before returning home to integrate her knowledge. Dr. Zwicker encourages her patients to be an active part of the healing process and believes in the power and therapeutic art of storytelling. She can’t wait to hear your story and be part of your wellness journey.
Dr. Zwicker enjoys using her curiosity to delve into a variety of medical conditions and find the root cause. She practices heart-centered medicine with a focus on the mind-body connection and treating the whole person. She is here to help you thrive in all aspects of your life, holistically.
Dr. Zwicker uses a combination of nutritional counseling, emotional support, herbal medicine, and pharmaceuticals to treat patients and is committed to working in collaboration with patients to develop treatment plans that are achievable and effective.
Dr. Zwicker welcomes neurodiverse patients, gender diverse patients, and is a sex-positive, body-positive, Kink Aware, LGBTQ+ Informed, Trauma Informed, and Poly Aware Professional. She supports women’s health issues and has clinical interests in primary care, both acute and chronic conditions and preventative services, gastrointestinal concerns, including SIBO, vitalism, lifestyle medicine, and homeopathy. Dr. Zwicker has completed a certification in clinical homeopathy from the Center for Education and Development of Clinical Homeopathy. When not in the clinic, Dr. Zwicker is a fan of handcrafting everything from cosmetics to rugs, reading voraciously, singing in community, and learning ASL (American Sign Language).
