Dr. Bob is an Oregon Board Certified Naturopathic Doctor. He completed his studies at the National University of Natural Medicine where he received his doctorate in natural medicine as well as a master’s in integrative Medical Research where his thesis focused on the impacts of whole food cooking classes on the health of participants. He is comfortable treating kids and families and has been practicing in this manner since 2017.
Dr. Bob is dedicated to creating a safe, accessible, and comfortable space to seek medical care for all individuals while practicing trauma informed and inclusive care. If there is one driving force behind Dr. Bob’s care, it’s that patients should understand their treatment plans and they should get better. To do this, Dr. Bob does not focus on only one particular tool, but is instead dedicated to using a large tool box containing everything from herbs, nutritional supplements, and hands on physical medicine to pharmaceutical treatments when necessary to help patients meet their goals.
Beyond primary care, Dr. Bob has expertise in treating gastrointestinal issues such as IBS and SIBO, mental health, and connective tissues disorders such as Marfan Syndrome and EDS. Dr. Bob has been driven to develop this expertise through personal and family experience which he combines with clinical experience to create individualized care plans for such complex illness.
Outside of the office, Dr. Bob is a sponge who listens to copious amounts of music on antiquated formats, reads comic books, writes poetry, and enjoys (most of the time) being a parent to a highly creative daughter with whom he shares a love for campy pro-wrestling and make believe. Dr. Bob believes that it is important to highlight the things patients like and enjoy while practicing medicine as these have a tremendous impact on health and are often the connective fiber that brings us all together.
