Resumption of Services

With easing restrictions on in-person primary care services in Multnomah County, the Center for Natural Medicine is now able to offer more expanded services. While we are still performing telemedicine visits for many patient care needs, we have expanded our ND services to include physical exams, annual wellness visits, routine gynecologic care, musculoskeletal manipulation, and stress EKGs. We continue to offer minor surgery procedures, lab services, and COVID-19 nasal swab testing. Our acupuncture team is now offering in-office treatments, including care for our patients who are not able to receive treatment on the second floor of our building.

We have implemented a number of safety precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our clinic. Everyone entering our building is required to wear a facemask for the duration of their appointment time unless directly asked to take the mask off by their healthcare provider in order to complete an exam. We are also taking the temperature and oxygen saturation of everyone entering, and we will ask those with a fever or low oxygen to reschedule following a negative COVID-19 test.

You may notice that the flow of traffic through our clinic has changed as well. We are now asking that all patients, with exception of those using mobility devices, exit through our side door in order to prevent overcrowding of our lobby and reception desk. Our checkout process has changed due to the traffic redirection, and rescheduling of appointments will be done with a medical assistant in the treatment room or by calling the clinic after your appointment to reschedule. We are also asking that all copayments be made prior to the visit as you check in.

While our hours are still limited and some of our providers have not yet returned to in-person care, we are currently able to offer the above services Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. We will update our hours on our website as they expand.

Thank you for your patience during this strange time. We hope that through the changes that have been made in our clinic over the past few months that we are able to continue to offer you quality naturopathic and acupuncture services without further disruption. We are grateful that you have chosen the Center for Natural Medicine to be part of your healthcare team.
