COVID-19 UPDATE 3-18-2020

The staff and providers at the Center for Natural Medicine care about the health & wellbeing of our community. We are continuing to monitor the situation with COVID-19, including recommendations to engage in home isolation to prevent the spread of the virus. At this time, we are asking all our patients to access care via telephone visits through at least 4/1/2020.

Patients experiencing urgent health issues who require in-person care will be seen in the office on a case-by-case basis and by appointment only. Unfortunately, at this time all our in-person acupuncture and massage services have been cancelled until further notice.

If you are having symptoms such as fever, cough or shortness of breath please schedule an urgent telemedicine visit to discuss appropriate next steps for care.

For all patients who do not meet the criteria for urgent visits, we are encouraging you to schedule a telemedicine visit with your provider. Our Chinese medicine practitioners are offering $25 telephone consultations on Chinese herbal remedies, homeopathic remedies, and supplements. Our naturopathic practitioners are able to bill for virtual office visit appointments through many insurance companies; for those patients without telemedicine coverage, our ND providers will be offering a 40% time of service discount on all non-covered telemedicine visits.

If you are seen in the office, please expect to have your temperature taken upon entry to the clinic. All patients with a temperature greater than 99.4 F will be asked to wear a mask and may be asked to change to a phone visit. We ask that you wash your hands before and after all in-office appointments.

We will be maintaining medicinary services throughout this time, including home shipping. We encourage calling ahead for supplements and completing the transaction by phone when possible. Due to limited staff coverage at the clinic, the clinic front door may be locked. Please call or knock to be let in if you are coming in for approved services.

We understand that this is a confusing and uncertain time and we are committed to providing quality healthcare to our patients in whatever way we are able to in the coming days. We thank all of you for your patience and resilience.

In health,

Center for Natural Medicine
