Carrie Baldwin-Sayre, ND

As a primary care naturopathic physician, Dr. Baldwin-Sayre places a strong emphasis on disease prevention, patient education, and a holistic approach to healthcare. She sees patients of all ages for preventive care (annual physicals, women's wellness/Pap exams, well child exams), as well as acute and chronic illnesses. Dr. Baldwin-Sayre specializes in natural approaches to cardiovascular, endocrine, digestive, and women’s health problems. She utilizes nutrition, botanical medicine, homeopathy, bio-identical hormones, and lifestyle counseling to meet the varied needs of her patients.
She received her doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Baldwin-Sayre completed a 3 year general medicine residency through NCNM and the Center for Natural Medicine with an emphasis on cardiology and endocrinology. She is currently on the faculty at NCNM, where she teaches core curriculum courses to 1st and 2nd year medical students. She is also an active preceptor physician, and mentors students in her clinic.
In her spare time, she enjoys the beautiful Oregon outdoors with her husband, whether it be hiking in the Columbia Gorge, snowshoeing at Mt. Hood, or tending her garden. She truly loves Portland and all its cultural and recreational offerings, and is so grateful to live in a city that emphasizes a healthy lifestyle.
